Established in 1977, Andrew Copeland Insurance was founded on the principle of providing a complete insurance service of a very high standard. We are a professional firm of insurance consultants specialising in products both in the UK and Overseas, working closely with many of the leading underwriters and broking houses to ensure that we can assist with virtually any risk we are asked to deal with.

We believe in building through excellence and to this end, are constantly working to improve our range of products along with developing new products for our customers, no matter how big or small. Our aim is to provide affordable quality insurance whilst providing advice and a first class service during the entire life cycle of a policy, not just at the point of sale.

Andrew Copeland Insurance is divided into two teams, consultants and international. The teams work closely helping Andrew Copeland Insurance reach customer's expectations. Our main objective here at Andrew Copelands is to insure that not only our customers, but our staff are happy with the way we operate. We offer a professional but relaxed encouraging input, creativity and ideas from our stuff.

We specialise in property insurance both in the UK and Europe, including residential and commercial property owner's risks as well as unoccupied property risks, landlord and Holiday Home Insurance. We also specialise in overseas motor insurance. All of our delegated binding authority schemes are underwritten by 'AA' rated insurers, with whom we enjoy cover holder status. 

 

Delegated Binding Authority

A delegated binding authority is a special type of agreement whereby an insurer authorises a coverholder to underwrite on their behalf subject to a agreed and specific criteria. This means that as a coverholder, ACI is authorised to underwrite risks in-house on behalf of underwriters’, providing an immediate and first class service. The contract reference number for the binding authority of the policy in question can be found on the policy certificate or schedule of cover. This number is unique to the contract that is in force with ACI.
