Our second home policy has been designed for those who may only use their property at the weekends or during the week

As experienced second home insurance specialists, we understand that there may be occasions when your second home may be left unoccupied for more than 30 days at a time. Our second home insurance policy continues to provide full cover without any penalty or restriction in cover, although we will ask that you arrange for someone trustworthy to inspect the inside of your second home if it is left empty for more than 30 days in a row and that you keep the heating on during the winter months or turn the water system of and drain it down.

We believe that our second home insurance policy provides the widest possible cover and is one of the best available in the market.

Accidental damage (buildings)

Trace and access

Unauthorised use of services

Unauthorised alterations

Emergency access

Damage to landscaped gardens by the emergency services

£5,000 contents cover free to curtains, carpets, blinds, white goods

£5,000,000 property owners or occupiers liability

Accidental breakage of fixed glass, sanitary ware and underground pipes and cables

Accidental breakage of solar panels

Accidental breakage of fixed glass, sanitary ware and underground pipes and cables

Accidental damage to TV, video, audio, computer equipment (when contents insured)

Loss of metered water (when contents insured)

Replacement locks and keys (when contents insured)

Alternative accommodation costs – up to 20% of the sum insured (following the operation of an insured event)
